"Support Morongo Basin Ambulance" month

Did you know Morongo Basin Ambulance has been providing quality
emergency medical services and transport to the citizens of the
Morongo Basin since 1948?

In those 71 years MBA, as one of the only non-profit ambulance services in California has NEVER received public funding or tax dollars. Their only source of income is from private and government health insurance reimbursement which has not increased over the years. Even though MBA runs a very tight operational “ship” with its professional staff and volunteer board, expenses continue to increase (supplies, communications
resources and general maintenance to name a few). Because of this, the organization is now reaching out to the community for assistance.

September has been designated as “Support Morongo Basin Ambulance” month. Every dollar that is received from individuals and organizations in the Morongo Basin will be spent on service improvements, technology, state-of-the-art medical equipment, supplies and vehicle maintenance for the five ambulances that run daily and cover a 2700 square mile geographic area.
